What is is?
DIASPORA presents Roots & Radio, a daytime celebration of the cultural power of radio, community, and youth creativity.
Part of our Arts Council–supported DIASPORA series, the event shines a light on the legacies of migration, cultural exchange, and the underground music communities that have shaped Bristol’s identity.
Join us for an interactive live radio show, featuring legendary artists, rising Bristol talent, and hands-on workshops that open doors to careers in radio, DJing, production, and live performance.
The show will be recorded for later broadcast on Ujima Radio, amplifying Bristol’s community voices far beyond the room.
