Through the noise 

Over the past few months, I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with some of the most exciting and unapologetic voices in Bristol’s punk scene. What started as a few chats and chance encounters quickly turned into something much bigger, a project that’s become close to my heart. I’ve followed bands into rehearsal rooms, tiny pubs, and sweaty, packed-out DIY venues, camera in hand, drawn in by the noise, the politics, the humour, and the sheer joy of it all. It’s loud, chaotic, and often messy, but that’s what makes it beautiful. This scene is bursting with emotion and resistance; it’s full of people who care deeply, who speak out, and who lift each other up in ways that are raw and real. Through my photos, I want to celebrate the honesty and heart that runs through it all. This isn’t just about music—it’s about connection, protest, and the power of being seen and heard exactly as you are.
